Paper Block

The primary objective of Paper Block is to completely fill the target shape or grid using the provided block pieces. You must figure out the correct arrangement so that every piece fits perfectly without overlapping or leaving any empty spaces.

Controls

The game is optimized for both mouse and touchscreen play:

• Select a Block: Click (or tap) and hold on a block piece from the selection area.
• Move a Block: Drag the block to the desired position on the puzzle board.
• Place a Block: Release the mouse button (or lift your finger) to drop the block into place.

Rules & Mechanics

• Perfect Fit: All blocks given for a level must be used, and they must fit exactly within the boundaries of the target shape.
• No Overlapping: Blocks cannot be placed on top of one another.
• Fixed Orientation: In most levels, blocks cannot be rotated unless a specific rotation icon is provided. You generally have to work with the shapes as they are given.

Walkthrough & Strategy Tips

• Start with the Biggest Pieces: Always try to place the largest and most awkwardly shaped blocks first. They have fewer possible positions, making it easier to deduce where the smaller pieces fit.
• Look for Corners and Edges: Identify unique corners or edges in the target shape that match specific blocks. Placing these “obvious” fits first can anchor the rest of your solution.
• Visualize Before Moving: Before dragging pieces randomly, try to mentally visualize where a piece might fit. This helps improve your spatial thinking skills.
• Use the Hint System: If you get completely stuck, don’t forget the Hint button. It will show you the correct position for one or more blocks to get you back on track.
